The Association of Retained Council Housing (ARCH) is holding a
free members' seminar on 'New build: models of delivery' before
this year's Annual General Meeting (AGM) in London on Monday 17
The seminar will feature Chartered Institute of Housing director
of financial policy and development Steve Partridge who, along with
practitioner speakers, will talk about 'self-financing and
opportunities to new build' for councils with housing.
In addition Savills will speak about their new build package for
local authorities and POD will outline their unique development
services for social landlords.
The seminar is free for ARCH members to attend, starts at 11am
(with registration from 10.30am) and finishes with lunch (sponsored
by Savills) from 1pm.
The ARCH AGM starts after lunch at 2pm and is open to all ARCH
members to attend.
ARCH is an association of councils in England that have retained
ownership and management of their council homes.
Councils with housing have distinctive interests, and need their
own, independent, effective voice. Only ARCH can provide this. ARCH
is the voice of the sector and has emerged as an important conduit
of sector views to government, and a trade body that is restoring
confidence in the sector. By attending the AGM and discussion
session you will:
