ARCH and NFA to hold second meeting with Lord Freud 26/05/2016

ARCH and the NFA are to hold a second meeting with Lord Freud to discuss the impact of Welfare Reform.

Cllr Paul Ellis, chair and John Bibby, ARCH CEO, together with the chair and representatives of the NFA, will meet Lord Freud, Minister of State to discuss Welfare Reform, on 7 June. We'll also further discuss the findings of the ARCH/NFA Welfare Reform survey.

When we met for the first time in March, we agreed to undertake further work to update our survey and establish channels of communication with the director general's office to improve two-way dialogue and communication as the role out of Universal Credit accelerates.

We'll update ARCH members on the outcome of these ongoing discussions in due course.
