Cllr Paul Ellis, ARCH Chairman, and John Bibby, Chief Executive,
met with John Healey MP, Shadow Housing Minister, to press the case
for council housing.

the Houses of Parliament, John Healey MP was briefed on the ARCH

ARCH will continue to press the case for council housing with
the government and opposition parties. Also, following further
exchange of correspondence with Housing Minister Brandon Lewis MP,
we'll be contacting the senior civil servant responsible for
extension of the Right to Buy to arrange a meeting to discuss the
Voluntary Right to Buy extension to housing associations and its
implications for stock retained councils.
We'll keep you updated.
