ARCH Exchange – has your council introduced a “Buy back” policy? 22/11/2018 Labelled as Development

ARCH Exchange gives people working in ARCH member councils a simple way to pool knowledge and experience and reduce duplicated effort.

Officers at ARCH member councils can save time and reduce duplication of effort by using the ARCH Exchange to pool their knowledge and ask for examples of how other councils have tackled a particular situation, to circulate questionnaires, and to share your committee or policy reports and much more. It's just another benefit of ARCH membership.

Members can email their enquiry, questionnaire or the documents they're willing to share to exchange@arch-housing.org.uk . We'll then send out details to the main ARCH contact in each organisation.

In the latest ARCH Exchange, Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking information from other ARCH member councils that have introduced a "buy back" policy to purchase ex-council properties previously sold under the Right to Buy.

Details of this enquiry have been circulated to the lead contact in each ARCH member council and if you can assist with an ARCH Exchange enquiry, you can respond directly to the member organisation. We provide contact details with the enquiry and copying your response back to the Exchange will enable us to maintain a library of responses for future enquiries and to inform our policy work.
