The ARCH Tenants' Group met on the 27 March at the Chartered
Institute of Housing offices in London.
Among the items on a busy agenda were:
- Plans for the ARCH Annual Tenants' Conference on 20 September
2017 - watch out for further details and how to book your
- A discussion about the government's recent Housing White Paper
and what it means for tenants as well as an update on the very
latest information on the Housing and Planning Act (fixed-term
tenancies and high value asset levy) and details of the
Homelessness Reduction Bill which is about to receive Royal
- The outcome of a visit by tenant representatives from Lincoln
to see how tenant engagement works in Rotherham.
- The benefits of ARCH membership for stock retained
The minutes of the meeting will be posted to the Tenants' area of the
Jenny Hill Chair of the ARCH Tenant Group said: "We're very much
looking forward to another successful Tenant Conference in
September and planning for this is underway. If anyone has any
ideas or suggestions of topics that they would like the conference
