The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government
(MHCLG) and Homes England are hosting a webinar for council chief
executives and housing directors about First Homes the Government's scheme
which provides homes for first-time buyers at a discount of a
minimum of 30 per cent, and £150 million funding for additional
affordable housing.
The webinar is to be held from 1:30 - 2:30pm on Tuesday 29
June.
The session will outline details of the role councils will play
in delivering First Homes through the planning system, what
councils can do to prepare, the application process for grant
funding, how MHCLG can help and will also provide an
opportunity to ask questions about the scheme.
