ARCH member Lincoln City Council was the first
organisation to demonstrate its commitment to the new Repairs
Charter, which is designed to help social landlords ensure that
the right strategies, tools and practical approaches are in place
to provide an efficient and effective repairs service.
The Repairs Charter, developed in partnership with Mears Group,
was launched at Chartered Institute of Housing's annual conference
last week, and Lincoln City Council, an active member of the
Charter Advisory Group, was the first of 14 organisations to sign
up to the Charter in the first week, so that their tenants and
customers can benefit from homes, estates and neighbourhoods that
are well maintained.
