Update: Sale of high-value stock to local housing companies/housing associations 15/04/2016

In the last bulletin, we reported that DCLG officials had indicated that they would have no objection to councils selling their high-value stock to housing associations but were more circumspect about selling to wholly-owned local authority housing companies.

 

Latest information suggests that they may be rowing back from that stance.
