HRA EVENTS
As part of the consultation process for the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) reform proposals, ARCH and APSE have organised two events to ensure that members have an opportunity to contribute to responses to the consultation document.

1. The first of these took place on 21st September, 2009 at the Local Government Association offices in Smith Square, London. This revealed the results of a modeling exercise allowing councils to determine likely levels of debt under self-financing proposals contained in the HRA consultation document. The event allowed a detailed look at four case study authorities with actual HRA and stock survey data modeled to draw broad conclusions about the range of factors influencing the viability of self-financing proposals.
   
2. The second event will be held on 5th October, 2009 in London between 11am and 3pm. This event will be aimed at councillors and officers and provides an opportunity to collect views in order to inform ARCH’s HRA consultation response. Download flyer here
