We previously highlighted the work that the City of Lincoln
Council, London Borough of Greenwich, South Kesteven District
Council and Southwark councils were undertaking to explore how
councils can use a common service pattern for reporting, diagnosing
and scheduling housing repairs and invited ARCH member councils to
participate in a survey to support the project and a
number of ARCH member councils responded to the survey.
The project, entitled "Repairs Online", is a collaborative local
authority project, funded by the Government's Local Digital Fund
and the final Technical Alpha report from the Repairs Online
Project has now been published and can be viewed via the Local Digital Fund website.
The next phase of the project is to prepare a bid to the MHCLG
to continue this project into a Beta. This will be based on
the recommendations in the Technical Alpha Report and if any ARCH
member councils would like to take part in the next part of this
