On 10 December, Chancellor Rachel Reeves formally launched Phase 2 of the Government’s Spending Review, which will lead to the publication of Government spending plans for 2026-28 in a Spring Budget. The exact date is yet to be announced.  The Treasury has circulated an invitation to submit evidence to the Spending Review via a portal with a deadline of 9 February 2025.
