Homes England has published its Strategic Plan for the next 5 years.  Charged by the Government with administering the £396 billion Social and Affordable Homes Programme announced at the Spending Review last June, as well as the new National Housing Bank, it says it expects to deliver 280,00 social and affordable homes and unlock for development sites for 400,000 homes.  It hopes to double the annual supply of social and affordable homes to 80,000 a year by the end of the current decade.
