MHCLG has issued updated guidance on the operation of Awaab’s Law, which comes into force from Monday 27th October.
Rents to rise by up to 4.8% in 2026
Councils will be allowed to raise rents next year by up to 1% more than the annual increase in CPI to September, which has been confirmed as 3.8%.
